What happens if the greeting card gets lost in the mail?

Unfortunately, Gitzee cannot take responsibility for shipments once they leave the Gitzee office. The United States Postal Service has sole responsibility for any products shipped by mail. With that said, if you're card doesn't make it to you, please get in touch with us at service (at) gitzee.com. We will certainly do what we can to help. In many cases, we'll be able to replace the card.

What happens if the gift card gets lost in the mail?

Gitzee documents the serial number and amount of all gift cards issued. If your gift card gets lost in the mail, please contact us at service (at) gitzee.com. We will provide you with the serial number, amount, and contact information for the issuing store. This will allow you to contact the issuing store to deactivate at the missing card and request a replacement.

Will Gitzee sell information about me or my contacts?

Gitzee will NEVER sell or give any information you provide to any outside third party. The information you provide (both about yourself and your contacts) will only be used to provide you with the card matching services you have requested.

Do I get charged for having events on your site?

Absolutely not. You can register on the Gitzee.com website and set up as many event reminders as you would like AT NO CHARGE. You will only be charged by Gitzee once you have selected a specific card from one of our reminder emails.

Using the site

I don't have a credit card. Are there other payment options?

Yes. Gitzee partners with Paypal for payment processing services. Paypal provides several ways for you to pay for a purchase, including check and direct account withdrawal. If you choose to use one of these alternate payment methods, you will have to set this up with Paypal in advance of attempting to pay for Gitzee services. How do I add my events?

Once you register with Gitzee.com, you will need to first fill out your personal profile, so we know who these cards are coming from. After that, you fill out a short profile for each recipient, specifying who they are, what kind of things they like, and what kind of cards they prefer. After you have done those two steps, you can create an event. By either clicking "Create Event" from the recipient list, or "Create Event" from the bottom of the recipient information page, you can begin defining the event!

I want a Holiday that you don't have listed, can I add my own?

ABSOLUTELY! You are the customer - if you want to send a card, we'll do our best to make sure it happens. Contact us at service (at) gitzee.com and tell us what Holiday or event you wish to send a card for!

Maintaining Your Account

I don't remember my password. What do I do?

Click on the "Forgot Password?" link, which is located HERE or under the email address / password box on the left-hand side of the screen.

I'm using the correct information, but can't log in! What's the problem?

Perhaps your CAPS LOCK is on? Are you using the correct email address? Have you requested your password to be sent via email? If you still cannot log in, contact us at service (at) gitzee.com and let us know the problem - we'll get you fixed up ASAP!

My email address has changed. How can I update it?

You can update your email address through the "Define Yourself" section.

I entered the wrong name while registering. How can I correct this?

You can update any of your personal information through the "Define Yourself" section. If you entered an invalid email address at registration, you can either contact us at service (at) gitzee.com for assistance or just create a new account.

How do I delete my account from Gitzee.com?

You CAN'T! We won't let you! Just kidding...though we wish this will never be the case, we can delete your account for you. Just contact us at service (at) gitzee.com.

Troubleshooting Problems

Why am I not receiving my all of my reminders?

We do send emails out on every event: 3 weeks for "Standard" events, 2 weeks for "Express" events, and 1 week for "Reminder Only" events. If you don't get this email, make sure that your SPAM filter is set to allow all emails through from service (at) gitzee.com.

When trying to register for Gitzee.com I keep getting an error message saying, "the email address that you have entered belongs to another customer. Please re-enter your email address". What's happening?

Either you have already registered with our service, or someone has registered with your email address! If going through the "Forgot Password?" link doesn't help, contact us at service (at) gitzee.com.

I have tried many times to retrieve my password, but have not received a response.
